| • Warlord (Arms Warrior):
For leveling in WotLK Arms provides excellent burst, good mitigation, and a relatively low entry point in respect to gear requirements (one solid two-hander is the lion’s share). Due to the title builds level-oriented nature of picking up Improved Charge, the Overpower talents, and Bladestorm, the majority of your time is best spent in Battle Stance.
Titan’s Grip is the pinnacle of this tree and epitomizes the brutal nature of the reckless Fury Warrior. Fury excels in high white damage and scales very well as your gear improves. • Warder/Wardress (Protection Warrior): Quite given the overhaul, Protection yields not only extremely potent mitigation and threat abilities for tanking, but also provides the Warrior some much needed AoE abilities while not sacrificing nearly as much DPS as pre-WotLK. Many Warriors no longer shun Protection for leveling, especially those with established connections who are frequently spending large amounts of time both solo and instancing. |
