When I logged onto the PTR just moments ago, I noticed a funny glitch in my UI. I re-logged and it still looked weird. I re-logged again and still no rage bar. So, I went hunting on the PTR forums and immediately found a thread about this change by the crazy crab himself. What does this mean? Well you’d think such a change would have a massive effect on us as tanks and you’d be right… and you’d be wrong. On bosses, we’ve enjoyed nearly infinite rage for some time and as such, we shouldn’t notice any real difference. For trash, 5-mans and offtanking though this is an amazing buff and exactly what we’ve always needed to ensure that we can tank effectively as our gear improves or if we just aren’t getting hit at all. But, Druids got to keep there Rage! It’s true, but in a sense so did we. We’ve just got an endless supply of it now. Even from a flavour standpoint it kinda makes sense because you’d assume after 80 levels that we’d finally have learned to stay in a state of constant rage. What’s really exciting too is that there are a lot of boring rage efficiency talents like Improved Heroic Strike, Puncture and Focused Rage that we can expect to be replaced with new, fun talents. So, folks what do you think of the change… is the glass half-full or half-empty?
